Congmen urged to work hard for party’s win in next Assembly polls

MARGAO: GPCC president Girish Chodankar said the Congress is gearing up to defeat the BJP in the Assembly elections of 2022 and appealed to all block presidents to reach out to every person in their areas.

Chodankar issued appointment letters to the newly-nominated five Block presidents in South Goa.

CLP leader Digmabar Kamat said, “The people of Goa are fed up with the BJP government and there is a favourable situation for the Congress to come to power.” 

“Every Congress worker must work hard for the victory of the party in 2022. I will be there whenever my presence is required at any time. Congress workers can contact me any time to resolve their difficulties and problems,” he said.

Kamat issued letters to Block presidents namely Assis Noronha (Cuncolim), Royan Viegas (Velim), Manuel D’Costa (Nuvem), Pralay Bhgat (Canacona) and Pushkal Sawant (Curchorem) respectively. South Goa District president Joseph Dias welcomed.

Former minister Alex Sequeira, GPCC general secretary Subhash Faldessai, secretary Janardhan Bhandari, Deepak Kharangate, Yemane D’Souza and Floriano Colaco of South Goa District Congress Committee were present.
