PANJIM: Congress Party on Wednesday alleged black marketing of forms sold to vendors, who were seeking to put up stalls for the annual Ashtami Fair at Campal-Panjim.
Speaking to media persons, All India Professional Congress’ Goa unit President Elvis Gomes said that though 408 forms were to be sold only 50 forms were sold to a large number of vendors, who had queued outside the Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP) to buy these forms. He demanded to know about the remaining forms and alleged that there was black marketing of these forms by the councillors.
“When BJP is talking of complete power in the Corporation then who is to be blamed?” asked Gomes.
