Goa Congress spaid tributes to senior Congress leader and former MLA Jitendra Deshprabhu at a close door condolence meeting at South Goa District Congress Office. All the leaders paid floral tributes to the photo of late Deshprabhu. Opposition Leader Digambar Kamat said that Deshprabhu and his family always worked for Congress. “Jitendra Deshprabhu never feared taking up any issues and was straight forward person,” Kamat added. He added that due to the lockdown,Congress MLA and party office bearers refrained from attending the funeral of the departed leader. Social distancing was maintained at the meet.
