GPCC President Amit Patkar has declared that the CLP leader will be
elected on September 11 or 12. He said that AICC Goa
Desk Incharge and Mukul Wasnik will come down to Goa and the issue will be
settled. Asked about the status of Congress MLAs Michael Lobo and Digambar
Kamat, Patkar said that disqualification petitions have been filed against them
and Congress was stable.
Patkar was speaking on the sidelines of the press
conference on Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra.
