MARGAO: Congress MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has expressed anguish over the fact that Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho has not bothered to reply to the two grave charges made against him by the Finance Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr Palanivel Thiaga Rajan.
Reacting to Mauvin Godinho’s allegation that Dr Rajan had insulted Goa at the GST council meeting on May 28, Dr Rajan had made two serious charges against Mauvin.
Aleixo lamented that Mauvin has always shown utter contempt to him even though he was the one who had proposed that Mauvin should take over the mantle of chief minister when Manohar Parrikar was diagnosed to be suffering from life threatening illness.
Notwithstanding that he appealed to Mauvin to respond to the charges leveled against him by the Tamil Nadu finance minister.
