MAPUSA: Congress workers on Thursday paid floral tributes to late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by garlanding his portrait, to commemorate the 130th birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister.
The function was held at the North Goa District Congress Committee office in Mapusa, where they expressed immense pride in having a leader like Nehru. Senior Congressman and PIC Executive Member, Vishwanath Halarnkar and the President of Calangute Block Congress, Rajendra Korgaonkar amongst others were present.
