PANJIM: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) on Wednesday deferred its proposed State wide contact programme entitled “Connect To Nizacho Congressman” scheduled to be launched from Thursday, April 15 by a week due to upsurge in the COVID-19 infected cases in the State.
The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) has appointed general secretaries Vijay Pai and Subhash Faldessai as co-ordinators for North Goa district and South Goa district respectively for the “Connect To Nizacho Congressman” programme. GPCC office-bearers are also appointed as Block incharges for the programme so as to coordinate with the Block Congress committee and senior block leaders.
The new schedule will be intimated after reviewing the COVID-19 situation next week, informed GPCC vice president M K Shaikh.
The GPCC has decided to launch “Connect to Nizacho Congressman” with a view to honour contribution of loyal Congressman in the State.
