Panjim: Criticizing the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for “fooling” the mining dependents once again, the Congress on Tuesday assured that if their party is elected to power at Centre and State, they will solve the mining issue within six months.
“The Prime Minister’s Video conferencing was rigged as the questions were scripted and PM was reading out the printed answers,” GPCC president Girish Chodankar said.
Chodankar said that for last four and half year the PM has dodged the media and people but now he is shying away from even his own party workers.
“The BJP workers don’t even have the freedom to pick their questions,” he said.
On PMs assurances of judicial solution to mining issue, Chodankar said, “what was he doing for last 11 months? Why were his men fooling the mining dependents all along? This is nothing but a clear-cut cheating of own party workers.
Asked what would be the Congress’ solution to the mining crisis, CLP president Babu Kavlekar said that they will find solution immediately.
“We assure a solution to the mining issue within six months of getting voted to power,” he said.
