MAPUSA: North Goa District Congress president Vijay Bhike slammed Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant for allowing Sunburn Music Festival despite a clear cut assurance that the EDM will not be held this year in the State.
Stating that Sunburn is in full swing with party goers hording the dancing festival violating the COVID norms, Bhike questioned the Chief Minister’s authority .
“The Chief Minister categorically told the people of Goa that the Sunburn festival will not be held and that he himself has put a note on the file rejecting it. Despite the Chief Minister’s word, party has gone ahead in full steam making a mockery of the Chief Minister’s claims that the festival is not being held,” Bhike said.
