MARGAO: Congress has slammed Goa Forward Party (GFP) President Vijai Sardessai for playing cheap politics.
Reacting to Sardessai’s statement that Manohar Parrikar is his icon, Congress spokesman Urfan Mulla said that Vijai actually wants to honour his personal icon of U-turns and hence trying to name a road after him in Fatorda.
“The peoplewill never forget the title of ‘Dalal’ conferred upon each other by Parrikar and Vijai. Both have created a trademark of treachery and backstabbing. They will always be remembered for politics of convenience,” Mulla said.
“It is a joke that Vijai Sardessai has taken out a Bahujan Samaj card now in a desperate attempt to woo the voters of Bahujan Samaj,”” Mulla said.
