The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee has condemned the manhandling
and detaining of Congressmen at the All India Congress Committee Headquarters.
They have been lathi-charged and not allowed to go into the office. The Prime Minister and Home Minister need to reply
why this has been done, GPCC President Amit Patkar said. He denied that any
assets of the National Herald had been transferred to the accounts of Congress
leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi as seen from their election affidavits. Congress will protest
outside Raj Bhavan on 16th June at 11 am on this issue and meet the
governor if possible
