Congress workers desert party, join BJP at Sanvordem

CURCHOREM: Several office bearers and workers of Congress party from Sanvordem constituency joined the BJP during the visit of Jan Sampark Abhiyan Yatra on Wednesday. The yatra wasled Opposition Leader Manohar Parrikar.
The Congressmen who joined the BJP include Sanvordem ZP member Pradip Dessai, former chairperson of South Goa ZP Priyanka Dessai, Sanvordem Congress Seva Dal President Bhola Gaonkar, Deepak Pauskar, Sanvordem Block Mahila Wing President Usha Kudalker among others.
ex-sarpanch Nilkant Naik, Panch Namdeo Parsekar and Gokuldas Naik and businessman Abhi Velguenkar.
The office bearers and workers declared their entry in the BJP during a public meeting of BJP at Sanvordem which was attended by Manohar Parrikar, Adv Narendra Sawaikar, Babuso Gaonkar, Deepak Pauskar, Ramakant Gaonkar, Nilkant Naik and others.
