MARGAO: Opposition Leader Digambar Kamat on Wednesday demanded that Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant accept his demand to immediately convene the Assembly session to resolve capping of coal handling in Goa.
Kamat said, “Let us pass a resolution on capping of coal handling at Mormugao Port. Let all 40 MLAs walk the talk to protect the identity of Goa and its environment”.
It may be recalled that the Kamat along with Congress members met the head of South Western Railways and demanded that the double tracking of rail lines be stopped.
