MARGAO: South Goa Additional Sessions Judge Desmond D’Costa on Monday convicted Abhijit Patil of Rawanfond, Margao, under section 302 IPC for murdering a girl. The accused will be heard on point of sentence on May 3. Patil had stabbed the victim with a sharp weapon causing her death on June 13, 2010 near the Keni Petrol Pump, here.
