CoP seek govt permission to move HC to auction Pratibha Bhima
PANJIM: The Captain of Port (CoP) has sought permission from the State government to approach Bombay High Court with a plea to auction the oil tanker 'Pratibha Bhima', currently anchored within the jurisdiction of Panjim Port. The vessel has been anchored in an unsafe manner and is causing safety concerns and obstructing the movement of vessels, Captain James Braganza said adding that his department cannot initiate any action without permission from the Bombay High Court.
