VASCO: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old boy has been accused of sodomising an 11-year-old boy in Dabolim on Thursday.
Vasco police say the accused lured the victim to a secluded place and performed the unnatural sexual act with the 11-year-old boy.
The boy later began to complain of pain and his mother took him to the Chicalim Cottage Hospital (CCH).
The CCH staff then notified Vasco police of the incident and in the presence of an NGO, the boy revealed the identity of the accused.
Based on the description, the Vasco police found the 15-year-old boy and took him to the police station, where he admitted to committing the crime.
While the victim was sent to the GMC for a medical examination, the 15-year-old boy has been sent to Apna Ghar.
Police have booked a case against the accused under Section 377 IPC and Section 8 of Children’s Act. Sub Inspector Girendra Naik is investigating the case.
