PERNEM: Questions are being raised on the working style of the Goa police after police failed to act on noise Pollution complaints raised by villagers at Arambol, but police reached the spot when a so-called yoga center operated by a Delhiite filed complaint against locals for allegedly scribbling abusive language on the car.
Situation turned tense at Arambol on Tuesday evening when a Delhi native parked his vehicle right in the middle of road and blocking the road further alleged that local villager has scribbled abusive language on the car glass. The Delhi native then called the police and immediately a team of Pernem police rushed to the spot while from last three evening the residents of Arambol are calling police complaining against noise pollution but in vain.
“From last three evening we are calling the police. We first called PCR and then the Pernem PI Vikram Naik but police did not come even once in last three days nor bothered to inquire about the issue. Police have failed to act because police are sold out,” a local alleged
