PANJIM: Old Goa police have traced the vehicle used by the masked men to escape from Corlim after robbing a house of cash and valuables earlier this week.
The car was found abandoned at Borda, Margao but without the number plate.
“We are verifying the details of the abandoned car. The accused will soon be caught,” a senior police officer said.
Seven masked men forced their way into the house of Keshvnath Naik at Corlim on Monday and escaped with Rs 2 lakh cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs 7.98 lakh.
