Corlim Industrial Estate is in bad shape with over 70 units being closed. Many of these units are being used as godowns. There is no compound wall and there encroachment has taken place. The roads and the entire infrastructure is in bad shape, with the problem of garbage management being a major issue in the industrial estate.
The local MLA alleged that the Industries Minister visited the estate with industry officials, but did not call him. Industries Minister assured to resolve all the issues by December 2023.
