VASCO: The Cortalim special gram sabha on Friday resolved to reject the draft CZMP citing some discrepancies.
The gram sabha members stressed the need to seek an expert opinion on the draft CZMP and decided to write to GCZMA to accept the panchayat prepared draft CZMP of 2019.
Panch Raymond D’Sa said Sarpanch Senia Pereira, deputy sarpanch and few other panchas were present while five panchas remained absent.
Meanwhile, sources informed that the sarpanch suggested marking the plan and sending the same. However, the members declined this suggestion and stuck to their decision to reject the draft CZMP.
The locals said the draft CZMP prepared by the people and the panchayat in 2019 should be incorporated.
