VASCO: Cortalim Sarpanch Senia Pereira was voted out through a no confidence motion.
The proceedings were held at a special meeting. The ousted sarpanch managed to get only three votes, while seven voted for ending her tenure as sarpanch. These seven panchas had filed no confidence motion against the Sarpanch on August 16.
Deputy Sarpanch Raymond D’Sa accused the outgoing sarpanch of undertaking no development and keeping the panchas in dark while taking major decisions.
