Cortalim Youth Cong takes up fogging due to spike in dengue cases

VASCO: Cortalim Youth Congress team has started fogging for the past several days at various places of Cortalim due to the spike in dengue cases. Cortalim Youth Congress Leader Olencio Simoes slammed the Health Department for its failure to bring down dengue cases despite having the infrastructure.

According to Olencio, Youth Congress President Peter Fernandes slammed Primary Health Centre Cansaulim and Rural Medical Dispensary at Sancoale and Cortalim for their failure to control the mosquitoes menace, which is breeding due to clogging of water in most drains and has created a havoc and suffering for the people of Cortalim Constituency.

The Congress leader stated that the government is least bothered to solve the difficulties of the common man. The common man is just recovering from economic crises and due to steep rise of COVID cases and deaths in the State.

He demanded that Health Minister Vishwajit Rane should intervene and take immediate steps to control the spike in dengue cases as most health centres including GMC, Bambolim are flooded with dengue cases.
