A couple travelling in a four-wheeler were hurt after a private passenger bus proceeding from Ponda to Panjim dashed against their car on Monday on the narrow Ribandar stretch.
The couple identified as Augustine and Josephina Sapeco suffered bodily and head injuries and were shifted to the GMC for treatment. The accident resulted in a long traffic jam at 5 pm. Police stepped in and cleared the vehicles.
