MARGAO: The application made by Vikat Bhagat, who is accused of allegedly murdering Irish woman Danielle Mc Laughlin near Canacona, for not handcuffing him while being taken to the court from the jail has been has been granted by Additional District and Session Judge, Margao.
The trial of the case will commence on November 10.
Bhagat had made the application before the above court praying that he should not be handcuffed while being brought to the court.
It may be recalled that Vikat was arrested as an accused in the sexual abuse and murder of Danielle, 28, March 13, 2017.
