PANJIM: The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Panjim on Wednesday further extended by three days the custody of Adv Mujahid Shaikh of Valpoi, arrested on the charges of stealing gold ornaments and cash from the evidence room of the Panjim Court, last week.
Meanwhile, bail application filed by Adv Shaikh will be heard by the Court on Friday.
The Panjim police arrested the Adv Shaikh after he allegedly stole gold ornaments and cash from the Muddemal room at the JMFC, Altinho, on February 3. Adv Shaikh was earlier remanded in five days police custody.
