Court orders to frame charges against 20 crew members in dacoity case

Judge Vincent D’Silva while framing the charges against the crew members observed that the scene of offence panchanama and the attachment panchanama well as the auction report clearly indicate that the accused committed the above offences.

MARGAO: The Additional District and Sessions Court, Margao on Saturday framed charges against  Narayan Aadkar, and 19 other crew members of Maharashtra for taking away fish, navigation and wireless system from trawlers, all worth Rs 9 lakh and threatening the crew with dire consequences and fleeing from the spot.

The 20 crew members of different parts of Maharashtra committed offences under Sections 143,147, 341, 506 (ii), 107, 379, and 395 read with 149 of the Indian Penal Code.
