PANJIM: The District & Sessions Court on Wednesday rejected Crime Branch’s plea seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail to Revolutionary Goans’ Chief Manoj Parab. The order could prove to be a major setback for the investigation team, probing the violent protest at the now scrapped IIT project at Melauli on January 6.
Parab along with Rohan Kalangutkar of Revolutionary Goans among others were granted anticipatory bail after they were accused of being a part of the protest at Melauli, wherein several policemen were attacked and injured.
