PANJIM: North Goa Sessions Court rejected the intervention application filed by former IGP of Goa Police, Sunil Garg, and businessman Baleshwar Sharma, in the petition filed by Munnalal Halwai.
Rejecting the interventions, the Court scheduled the matter for final arguments on December 5. Halwai has petitioned the court to direct Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) to register an FIR against Garg in a bribery case.
Last month the High Court of Bombay at Goa directed Panjim Sessions Court to decide upon the petition filed under Section 156 (3) of CrPC related to bribery cases against Garg in eight weeks.
