PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) vice-president Pratima Coutinho criticised Chief Minsiter Dr Pramod Sawant for failing to prioritise the COVID warriors when providing jobs and she also threatened to go on hunger strike with 50 MTS members if their demands are not met within a week.

Coutinho said, “If CM does not take an action within a week, then we will go on hunger strike outside of South District Covid Care health center.”

In the midst of the pandemic, when nobody was willing to take a risk, 50 MTS joined the South District Covid Care health centre.  Sawant government had vowed to give them priority in the recruitment process.
