PANJIM: The Bailancho Saad has demanded an outreach centre for women at every taluka, which would house protection officers with an independent charge under the Domestic Violence Prevention Act with adequate infrastructure, gender-sensitive personnel and budget.
It has also demanded to immediately appoint the Chairperson of the Goa State Commission for Women and to provide an adequate budget for infrastructure for one-stop crisis centres and other redressal mechanisms to address crimes against women for qualitative work
