Crocodile rescued

The Animal Rescue Squad (ARS) Bicholim rescued a crocodile at Nawarwado-Pale, Bicholim, on Monday.
According to ARS Chief Amrut Singh, a huge crocodile was seen inside a canal in a Kulagar at Nawarwado Pale. After they got the information, the ARS team led by Singh along with Hassan Shaikh and Babu Vithal Joshi went to the spot.
“The crocodile was first spotted by Prathamesh Patil, Pritam Patil and Santosh Gawali who informed us about it,” said Singh.
“It was very large and it was very difficult for us to trap it and it took almost an hour to catch the crocodile,” added Singh. Later, the crocodile was handed over to RFO Bondla officials.
