The CS asked officers to follow all preparatory steps prior to the election date being announced.
“Since Goa is a model State in many ways, it is important that elections be conducted in a model way,” the CS said stressing that every department should observe absolute political neutrality after the Code of Conduct comes into force. “Government servants should adhere to the conduct rules,” he further said.
Principal Secretary Dharmendra Sharma, who also attended the meeting, asked each department to hold meetings with officials and staff to review preparations for the elections.
