CS seeks justification on ‘cracks’ on Miramar-Dona Paula road

PORVORIM: The Goa government has said that Chief Secretary had called for justification on the ‘shrinkage cracks’ developed on the Miramar-Dona Paula road during the work execution. 
In his reply to the State Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said the rectification exercise is underway while also GSIDC had appointed the Consultant M/s LKS (India) Pvt Ltd for the pre-tender and post tender activities of the project and to monitor quality of work. 
“No such inquiry was conducted. The Chief Secretary, however, sought the justification of the shrinkage cracks which had developed during execution, the rectification of which is in progress,” he said in a written reply to legislator Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco.
