PANJIM: The Government of India has awarded CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) Director Prof Sunil Kumar Singh for his research contribution in the field of Ocean Science 2021. The award “The National Award for Ocean Sciences” was announced on the occasion of 15th Foundation Day of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of Goa.
“The awardees are eminent scientists in the field of Science and Technology. The awards were declared in the presence of Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent) Science & Technology, Earth Sciences,” reads a press statement.
