The 22-year-old from Cuncolim, whose identity has been kept under wraps, is charged of creating fake profile accounts and posting maligning comments about her ‘targets’ during early morning hours to prevent from being tracked.
“The accused used the latest techniques… It was a difficult task to track her down as she used high technology… But we collected digital evidence against her,” Cyber Cell SP Kartik Kashyap told a press briefing on Thursday.
The modus operandi of the accused was to post selective pictures of random girls on fake Facebook accounts, which she created, with messages to malign their image.
