MARGAO: The Cuncolim BJP on Monday said that Cuncolim has enough leaders who can lead the people and does not need outside leadership to run the affairs of the constituency.
BJP leader Ramesh Desai said the people of Cuncolim constituency had given a clear cut message in the 2012 Assembly polls that they want a local person to represent them in the Goa Legislative Assembly.
Referring to the statement issued by former two-time Cuncolim MLA Joaquim Alemao that his decision to return back to Cuncolim depends on the people, Desai said that Cuncolim people have enough leaders who can guide the people to make their destiny. “The verdict of the 2012 Assembly polls is very clear. The people have preferred a local to represent them in the Legislative Assembly”, Desai said.
