MARGAO: A 30-year-old resident from IDC Cuncolim, identified as Prakash Rai, was pronounced dead after experiencing chest pain. According to information provided by PSI Kavita Raut, Rai was initially taken home when he complained of chest pain. As his condition worsened, he was subsequently rushed to the Balli Health Centre, where he ultimately passed away.
The South Goa District Hospital has received the body for post-mortem examination, and the results are pending. Cuncolim police have registered the case under Section 174 of CrPC as an unnatural death. Statements from the family members have been recorded as part of the ongoing investigation.
