MARGAO: Angry at the government for reserving Guirdolim Zilla constituency third time consecutively for women, Clafacio Dias threatened to resign as Cuncolim MLA.
He said that he has conveyed his disapproval over the reservation of Guirdolim Zilla constituency to the chief minister and is awaiting his response.
At a meeting of the sarpanchas and panchas of his constituency, Dias said, “If people tell me to resign over this issue, I will readily do so.”
