Curchorem Residents Fill Potholes Themselves Again Amid Growing Frustration

Frustrated by the worsening condition of roads in Curchorem, residents have once again taken matters into their own hands by filling potholes, marking the second such community initiative.

Locals said years of neglect have left roads riddled with craters, making daily travel hazardous and uncomfortable. They claimed the poor road conditions have led to frequent accidents, vehicle damage, traffic disruptions and even back pain for regular commuters, while heavy trucks often get stranded on damaged stretches.

The volunteers described the repair work as a temporary measure aimed at preventing further mishaps and ensuring public safety.
