PANJIM: The government on Saturday extended the State-level curfew by another week, till 7 am on June 28.
Announcing this on his Twitter handle, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant stated that shops in shopping malls will be allowed to open from 7 am to 3 pm. Cinema halls, theatres, multiplexes and entertainment zones will be closed. Fish markets may also open from 7 am to 3 pm, he said.
This is the fourth time the curfew has been extended in the State since May 9 when the Chief Minister announced 15-day curfew to break the chain of COVID-19 infection.
