PONDA: Ponda MLA Ravi Naik on Thursday accused the BJP-MGP alliance that ruled the council for the last five years of failing to develop Ponda as promised by them in 2013 civic polls.
“Even the Rs 2 crore Golden Jubilee Project introduced by me during Congress rule has not been completed. Besides, the ruling alliance failed to bring new project for Ponda and failed to solve sopo issue.
Without naming anyone, Ravi accused a minister of luring the voters with the promise of government jobs.
“When there is shortage of government jobs how one can provide it,” he asked and cautioned the people not to fall prey to such assurances.
