Curti dy voted out of office

Curti-Khandepar, Ponda, Deputy Sarpanch Deep Naik was voted out of office by 6-0 votes on Friday.
It may be recalled that on March 3, Sarpanch John Pereira was voted out by 6-5 votes and a no-confidence motion was served against the deputy sarpanch.
The signatories to the motions included Ravindra Gaude, Anita Naik, Bhiku Kerkar, Hussain Mulla, Suraj Naik and Parveen Banu Tahsildar.
The five panchas remained absent. Election to the post of sarpanch will be held on March 16.
