PONDA: Sarpanch Harish Naik of the Curti-Khandepar Panchayat, along with panchayat staff, inspected illegal structures and houses in Deepnagar, Curti on Thursday. He warned that legal action would be taken against violators.
Naik stated that, following complaints from locals, the owners of these illegal structures were issued notices a few months ago. However, only two of the seven owners have submitted the required documents, indicating a disregard for the panchayat’s notices.
He also mentioned that a tenant verification drive would be conducted in the area by the police. Another notice will be served, and legal action will be taken against the owners of the illegal structures. Naik highlighted that these unauthorised houses are also causing sanitation problems in the area.
