Curti panchayat issues notice to 32 businesses

PONDA: Curti panchayat sarpanch  Gurudas Khedekar and deputy sarpanch Sudhi Raut along with panch members conducting inspection learnt that out of the 32 only few establishment had documents related to their business and the panchayat had directed them to produce their documents in fifteen days time.

This action was prompted following Curti Khandepar locals raised issues upon nuisances caused by roadside transport offices, bars, garages and business establishment including food serving dhabas.  

The locals had raised questions about legality of above said businesses operating along roadside and expressed ire over truck parking. They demanded action stating that they are illegally operating in area. 

Most of migrants found engaged in those activities and it is learnt that many of them had not obtained panchayat permissions to conduct their business.
