Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco said that he was informed about the problem by Curtorim Parish Priest Fr Mariano Proenca, and thereafter, a delegation met the PWD officials to discuss the same. He hoped that the issue would be resolved soon.
“The PWD Minister promised water 24/7 and to stop non-revenue water loss in the PWD. Till today there is no sign of that and no water to drink as the manganese levels are too high, making the water unfit to drink. The government’s Mission Salcete has now become Destroy Salcete,” said Lourenco.
