Customers released on bail

MARGAO, AUG 4
Even as the Margao police moved the authorities to seal the premises allegedly used for prostitution at Fatorda on Tuesday, the five customers who were arrested by the Margao police in connection with the prostitution racket were released on bail today.
One of the accused girl, who had moved the court, has also been granted bail.
The remaining two girls are presently in judicial custody, while the lady and one pimp are languishing in the Margao police lock-up.
Margao police station incharge, PI Santosh Desai said the five customers have been released on bail on a bail bond of Rs 10,000 with one identical surety. The girl has been released on bail upon furnishing a bail of Rs 10,000
PI Desai said he has moved his higher ups to request the Deputy Collector, Margao to seal the premise as it was allegedly used for the purpose of prostitution.
