MARGAO: Benaulim locals have called upon the panchayat and authorities to ensure that the bushes after the Khareband Bridge are cut at the earliest as it is a security risk and nuisance for commuters.
Roque Fernandes from Benaulim stated that the issue had been raised in the last two gram sabhas and that even before that it had been brought to the notice of the authorities, but no action was seen forthcoming.
Locals complained that the bushes were making it difficult for commuters, vehicles and the public at large.
