Cyber cell arrests Jharkhand native for duping student

PANJIM: The Cyber Crime Cell of Goa Police arrested a Jharkhand native Ashutosh Kumar for duping a student on pretext of offering admissions in a reputed medical college at Bangalore. 

As per the complaint, Cyber Cell received the complainant had got an email from the medical college confirming the admission into the college, for which he was asked to pay Rs 10 lakh as advance fees.

“After Several layers of technical data analysis to identify the real beneficiaries behind the fake bank accounts the accused was identified as Ashutosh Kumar,” said a press statement.
