PANJIM: An untraceable Czech national has been acquitted of a murder charge, as the High Court of Bombay at Goa upheld the order of a trial court in North Goa.
Pavel Neuhausel, who was granted bail during the course of the trial, has ever since been untraceable.
However, the High Court has acquitted him of the charge after police failed to submit strong case against him.
As per the case details, in 2013, Neuhausel was found in an unconscious state near a railway bridge at Tivim and when the police took him back to the guesthouse, they found that his girlfriend Markita Horka was lying dead in a pool of blood.
