PANJIM: The first anniversary of Dainik Herald,the Marathi daily of HeraldGroup saw the who’s who in the State including Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and Deputy Chief Minister Francis D’ Souza, Opposition Leader Pratapsing Rane make their presence felt at the celebrations.
The day began with a Satyanarayan puja in the Dainik Herald office followed by aarti and prasad. In the evening, a reception was hosted for guests, which saw people from all walks of life ~ politicians from across the party spectrum, including former journalist turned politician Vishnu Wagh, businessmen and journalists from other media houses join in along with the Dainik team to celebrate the occasion.
A special anniversary 12 pages supplement was circulated along with the anniversary edition of Dainik Herald Wednesday.
Herald group’s cable TV channel, HCN, aired ”Mahacharcha” a debate on achievements of Dainik Herald and media scene in Goa and ”Varshapurti: Dainik Herald” (Documentary on one year journey of Dainik Herald).
